Peveril makes buying your first home easier than you might think

17th May 2012 Print

Many think that buying their first home is still a long way off, but if they knew that all it would cost is £722*, in monthly mortgage repayments, they may think twice. At Appletree Meadow, Peveril Homes’ development in Etwall, the two-bedroom Blenheim has now been reduced to £145,950, giving first-time buyers the opportunity to take that first step on the property ladder for less than they might think.

The Blenheim, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, has been reduced by almost 10 per cent and can be purchased by a first-time buyer with a deposit of just £7,297.50 – that’s just five per cent of the total purchase price. The builder will then contribute a further five per cent to the deposit, leaving the buyer to arrange a 90-per-cent mortgage (£131,355).

This special incentive gives first-time buyers a great opportunity to purchase their first home – and the Blenheim (plot 19) is the perfect home for that first step on the property ladder. It is a semi-detached property, with an open-plan kitchen and living area and cloakroom. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom, second bedroom and bathroom.

Angela Thomas, sales and marketing manager at Peveril Homes, said: “This is a great chance for first-time buyers to own their own home sooner than they had imagined, thanks to the first-time buyer incentive and the reduction in the price of the property. With monthly repayments from just £722*, buying at Appletree Meadow is an affordable option for many.”

This pretty edge-of-village location offers a rare opportunity to acquire property of unique style and character in one of the best locations around.
