It is often said “if something is too good to be true – then it probably is”, but there is that rare exception to the rule – which Bellside Brae aptly demonstrates, a stunning development by Clydebrae Homes.

Situated within the peaceful setting of Bellside village, Cleland, and offering an exclusive collection of four and five-bedroom luxury homes, the standard specification within each property is unlike anything currently available – especially for homes with a competitive release price from £215,000.

The impressive, and near endless list, includes a choice of stylish state-of-the-art kitchens, complete with tiling and integrated appliances that include a five-ring hob, dishwasher and double oven. Elegant Villeroy and Boch bathrooms and en-suites also feature sumptuous taps, Porcelanosa tiles and full pressure showers by Hansgrohe.

Internal doors have been crafted from a choice of real wood and are finished with beautiful handles. Cornicing to the hall, lounge, dining room and master-bedroom adds a touch of traditional splendour.

Externally, the acute attention to detail continues, including electric garage doors outside lighting, turfed front gardens and two metre high privacy fencing. For added security, every property has its own fitted alarm system and also internal smoke alarms.

But that’s not all – Clydebrae Homes is generously providing £3,500 towards a buyer’s choice of floor-coverings and a free consultation with the company’s professional interior designer, helping customers personalise their captivating new home. Should there be any modifications prospective buyers may want to make (subject to the build stage), Clydebrae Home’s is happy to oblige.

Robert Kirk, managing director at Clydebrae Homes, says: “We’re only too aware of the economic constraints facing today’s buyers and have responded to this by providing a standard specification that is second to none. Every detail has been taken care of, enabling our buyers to simply move in to their new home with the reassurance that there doesn’t need to be any extra costs.

“For many buyers who are upsizing to a larger property, it can often be difficult to envisage how their existing furniture will translate into their new surroundings, which is why we are providing a free one-to-one consultation with our interior designer, Deborah Bell. With advice that helps our customers decide the internal layout, styling and colour scheme of their new home, it is another device that helps make moving both stress-free and cost effective.”

For those tempted by a consultation with the company’s interior designer, then a visit to the stunning five-bedroom detached Tay showhome at the development aptly demonstrates why this is an opportunity not to be missed and also further highlights the exclusive standard specification within all the homes.

Traditional elements throughout the Tay have been given a contemporary twist. Signature colours of olive green and citrus limes are used throughout the property – creating the perfect vibrant interior as we enter the summer months, but also adding warmth during the harshest of winters.

On entering the Tay through the solid Swedish wood front door, the spacious hallway leads into a beautiful bay windowed lounge within adjoining dining room, providing a spacious and flowing floor plan. The opulent taupe velvet sofa, citrus green armchairs and bold landscape paintings that adorn the walls fashion a room of sophistication and character.

The dining-room is perfectly balanced, as the simple lines of the walnut wooden dining table with glass top, which comfortably seats six, match with the side board. As with the lounge, natural light flood this room via a sizeable window that looks on to the garden.

Elegant oak doors with glass panels, imported from Spain, another impressive standard feature, lead from the dining room into the kitchen. Large Amtico flooring effortlessly executes the kitchen’s spacious floor plan. The fitted units are by Kitchen International and include walnut cabinetry, complete with integrated fridge freezer and AEG oven, as well as contrasting white polished units. Black granite work tops and a striking central island, with a chrome five burner-hob and adjoining breakfast bar, are all standard characteristics. Adjoining the kitchen is a beautifully planned sunroom, available on a number of properties at the development subject to the build stage.

Completing the ground floor of the Tay is a separate utility room, downstairs cloakroom and the fifth-bedroom or home office.

The upper floor of the Tay is just as captivating. Bedrooms two and three share a highly practical ‘Jack and Jill’ en-suite, which can be converted into a single en-suite, depending on the stage of the build programme.

The soft, Mediterranean colour palette of olive greens and lemons continues on the upper level, providing graceful and thoughtfully planned bedrooms that are the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation.

In a home where the standard specification quite simply goes ‘beyond the beyond’, one would anticipant a master-bedroom that surpasses on every level and the Tay doesn’t disappoint. The tasteful built in sliding wardrobe doors not only provide access to a considerable walk-in wardrobe with dressing area, but this in turn leads into a stylish en-suite, again affording buyers a special luxury that comes as a standard option.

Clydebrae Homes has clearly raised the bar with the finish and specification of every home and further adding to the appeal of life at Bellside Brae is its location. Situated off the A73 Carlisle Road, the development is within a peaceful, secluded hamlet that is perfectly placed for travel to the larger surrounding towns of much of the central belt.

Both Wishaw and Motherwell, which each have a wealth of amenities from schooling to shopping, are only a short drive from the development – so too is the M8, making Glasgow and Edinburgh a reasonable commute by car or train, as Cleland Railway Station is less than half a mile away and provides a regular service to both cities.

Neighbouring Cleland also provides every day essentials, including a selection of local shops, bars, cafes, a library and primary education at St Mary’s and Cleland Primary, with secondary education be provided at schools in Wishaw and New Stevenson.
