With seven buyers already signed up, those who want to take advantage of pre-show home prices at Cressington Heath should act fast.

Award-winning Redrow has enjoyed an influx of ‘off plan’ sales at the latest phase of the South Liverpool development, where buyers have been keen to snap up homes from the popular New Heritage Collection.

Purchasers so far have based their decision on plans, images, film footage, visits to other Redrow developments or just plain instinct. Now, with a fully furnished show home soon to open, the developer is anticipating increased demand for the traditional looking homes.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “The success we have seen at Cressington Heath is testament to our reputation for building quality homes that people really want to live in. It’s gratifying that so many people have had the confidence to buy ‘off plan’ and those who’ve already reserved have been able to take advantage of pre-show home prices.

“Nevertheless, we know that many people feel that being able to view a property is an important part of the home buying process. With that in mind we’re working towards opening a show home so that visitors can appreciate the layout, quality and finish of the homes.”

The development features a range of three and four-bedroom homes, with current prices from £199,995.

While externally they give a nod to the past, taking inspiration from the Arts and Crafts era, internally the homes will be bright, modern and full of family-friendly features.

“A new survey carried out for the Royal Institute of British Architects echoes our own research, which helped shape our popular New Heritage Collection. We both found that homebuyers are influenced by the homes they lived in previously and want a home which has ‘period’ features, but is practical too,” Lesley added.

“Our homes already offer many of the things that the RIBA report says people want and need from their home. For example, the report says people want a large main living area for eating, entertaining and relaxing and the open plan design of our homes means our customers can do just that.”

Homes at Cressington Heath will boast well-equipped kitchens with integrated top brand name appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

They will also enjoy the convenience of a downstairs cloaks and en-suite to master bedroom to complement the family bathroom, all of which benefit from quality fixtures and fittings.

To take advantage of pre-show home prices, visit the marketing suite, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
