The opening of a show home will mark the official launch of an exclusive new development in Crosby.

Elan Homes is building 13 new homes on a 1.1 acre site in Water Street, once home to St Frideswyde’s Church and Church Hall.

So far, buyers have had to visit Reeds Rains in Crosby to view floor plans of the homes but that will change from this weekend (June 23 -24) when a sales office will open on site along with a stylish show home.

As buyers look around the property they will be invited to join Elan at a cheese and wine tasting event.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the north, explains: “Crosby is a sought-after place in which to live and by inviting potential purchasers to a cheese and wine tasting event we’re offering them the chance to enjoy a taste of life in the popular neighbourhood. With a visit to the show home they will be able to appreciate the location, the practical layouts and the quality specification.”

Thornton Cross features four-bedroom family homes in a choice of six styles, with current prices from £264,995.

The homes are different to some other new builds in Crosby in that they’re being sold freehold rather than leasehold. It means that our customers will own the land the property sits on as well as the property itself, where as those who buy on a leasehold basis only have the right to occupy for the period of that lease and will face a ground rent for the land.

Properties at Thornton Cross will enjoy modern and stylish appliances, the best fixtures and fittings. And with Elan’s optional design package, buyers will be able to tailor-make their home just the way they want it.

The select development is well placed to enable its residents to choose their pace of life. Close to home there’s the chance to breathe in the fresh sea air with a relaxing stroll along sandy beaches, yet despite the serenity of the area there are also some good shops and a choice of good restaurants nearby. And for those who want to enjoy the bright city lights, Liverpool is just a few miles away enabling homeowners to indulge in some serious retail therapy and fantastic nightlife.

Easy access to the motorway network means Thornton Cross is also well placed as a base for commuters.

To experience what life could be like at Thornton Cross, visit the show home from this Saturday and Sunday (June 23 - 24). Normal opening hours are Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
