First time buyers lead the way at Park Central

Latest figures from Crest Nicholson Regeneration report that first time buyers make up more than 75 per cent of visitors on average each month, at its Park Central development in Birmingham city centre.
According to Rightmove.com, the proportion of home buyers who will be purchasing for the first time in the next 12 months is at its highest level for nearly three years. The survey revealed that 27.9 per cent of those who confirmed they intend to buy in the next year state they will be buying for the first time.
The one and two bedroom apartments at Park Central are proving especially popular with young professionals working in the city, with many attracted to the development because of its central location and close proximity to local amenities and places of work. One such first time buyer is Dante D’antonio, who is currently working as a chef at Rosso Pomodoro, an Italian restaurant in Selfridges at the Bullring shopping centre. Dante purchased a one bedroom apartment in the Houston building at Park Central, located in the latest £15 million phase of the development, Lower Parkside.
Dante said: “I moved to Birmingham from London with my job, as the chain I work for opened a restaurant at Selfridges. I had previously always rented in London because prices are too high to buy in the city centre, but I was amazed to learn how affordable the luxury apartments at Park Central in Birmingham were. The apartment at Houston was the first and only property I looked at, because it suits my needs perfectly. At Park Central I’m right in the thick of it in the city centre with just a 10 minute walk to work, but I can also enjoy a peaceful environment surrounded by acres of parklands and greenery, giving me the best of both worlds.”
Bordered by Bath Row and Lee Bank Middleway, Park Central is just a few minutes from The Mailbox and Brindleyplace, in addition to Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre.
Dante added: “It’s great to be on the property ladder after years of throwing money away on rent. The apartment is really spacious, with good sized rooms and contemporary fittings. The best feature however, has to be my balcony, which looks out onto fantastic views of the parkland and is perfect for entertaining friends. I can’t wait to put my culinary skills into action and hold a housewarming BBQ on the balcony!”
Starting in price from just £99,950 for a one bedroom apartment, the Lower Parkside phase of Park Central offers a stunning range of properties overlooking Wildflower Meadow. All the apartments are built with a contemporary open plan design and are fitted with modern fixtures and fittings, double bedrooms, designer kitchens and bathrooms, and boast spacious balconies – perfect for entertaining and dining alfresco.
