Two childhood friends will be reunited as neighbours when they move to Taylor Wimpey’s Bluebell Croft development of new homes for sale in Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent.

Danielle Woodall and Laura Baddeley (both 30) played together as children, enjoyed the same hobbies and studied at the same schools before their lives led them in different directions. Now, they are looking forward to settling into their new houses in Kidsgrove – just three doors apart!

They hope their young families will grow together and develop a second generation of friendships at their new homes in Kidsgrove.

“Finding out that Danielle and I will be living just a few houses from each other was amazing,” says Laura. “We both moved away from our childhood homes several years ago, but we’ve been in touch lots since learning we will be living at the same development in Kidsgrove.”

Danielle says: “It’s great that our new properties in Kidsgrove will be just round the corner from each other. We both have young children of similar ages who will play together and go to the same schools, plus I’ll have a neighbour who is also a really good friend.

“One of the things that most appealed to me about Bluebell Croft is its sense of community. I wanted to live in a friendly place alongside lots of young families and children, so having Laura’s family so close will be a fantastic first step towards building a good network of friends at our new home.”

There’s a great selection of different stylish homes to choose from at Bluebell Croft, but with two young children each, it was no surprise that the lifelong friends both purchased the same style of four-bedroom house.

“There will be my partner Simon and I, plus our two children Noah and Archie living together, so having an extra bedroom will be really useful for storage or when we have guests staying,” says Laura. “And all of the rooms, both upstairs and on the ground floor, are generously-sized, which is important for a growing family.”

Danielle adds: “The layout suits family life, it has a spacious lounge and a separate dining room that we will use as a playroom for the children. Then there is the garden, where we will have a grassy area and a patio so that there’s outdoor space for both the youngsters and the adults to relax.”

Laura and Danielle both appreciate the helpful, reassuring nature of the Taylor Wimpey Sales Executives at Bluebell Croft and can’t wait to become neighbours – again – later this year.

“We started looking at Bluebell Croft last September and we immediately identified the plot we wanted,” says Laura. “It was great having such a friendly Sales Executive available to help us make sure we got the property that best suited our needs.”

Danielle says: “Taylor Wimpey have been brilliant. Their homebuyer incentives gave us a helping hand stepping on the property ladder, which means we will have more affordable monthly mortgage payments.”

She adds: “Laura and her family are set to move in this September, and then my partner Paul and I will follow – along with our children Elsie and Carrick – in October. We’re all really excited about our new home and our new neighbours at Bluebell Croft.”

Two-bedroom apartments have just been released for sale from £99,995, while three-bedroom houses are currently available at the development from as little as £149,995, and four-bedroom properties are priced from just £194,995.

All homes at Bluebell Croft are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make choosing one of these high-quality homes even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for first-time buyers and those with a property to sell.

The NewBuy scheme, for example, offers credit-worthy purchasers the chance to secure their new home with a 95% loan-to-value mortgage and is suitable for both first-time buyers and those with a property to sell, while Part Exchange sees Taylor Wimpey offer homeowners a guaranteed price for their existing property, based on the average of independent valuations.

Incentives can be tailored to customers’ individual circumstances and are subject to availability, with full details available from the Sales Executive.

Bluebell Croft is located off West Avenue in an established residential area bordered by green open space.

The development enjoys a convenient location close to a range of amenities for day-to-day living, including shops, pubs, places to eat, a supermarket, a library, a health centre, a post office, a bank and schools for children of all ages.

Nearby Stoke-on-Trent has a rich history that grew from the pottery industry, and today is a vibrant city offering great shopping and leisure opportunities. For days out a little further afield, Kidsgrove is within easy reach of both the Peak District and picturesque North Wales.

Bluebell Croft has excellent commuter links, being close to the A34, for convenient access to Newcastle-under-Lyme, plus the A50 for Stoke, while junction 16 of the M6 is just seven miles from home. Kidsgrove railway station offers regular services to Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Crewe, Manchester and London Euston.
