Miller Homes forecasts bright financial outlook

Miller Homes East Midlands is aiming to capture the essence of the Great British Summer with a special event at the Stretton Glen development in Leicestershire.
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July, the award-winning housebuilder will be running an ‘Ask the Expert’ weekend with an independent financial advisor at the development in Great Glen.
As well as getting free, no obligation advice to make the moving process even more affordable, potential buyers will also be treated to a glass of Pimms and lemonade on the lawn of one of Stretton Glen’s showhomes.
“This type of event always proves particularly popular,” commented Paul Walters, regional sales manager for Miller Homes in the East Midlands. “As a company, we care about helping buyers to make informed decisions and people often leave realising that the new homes market offers more flexibility and greater value for money than they actually thought.
“Of course, with a summer theme, we’ll be hoping that the sun actually puts in an appearance. Failing that, we have three expertly designed showhomes for visitors to explore whilst enjoying their complimentary drink.”
The recently launched NewBuy initiative will be just one of the options highlighted over the course of the weekend.
NewBuy has been designed to help overcome the large deposit gap for many potential homebuyers by enabling them to purchase a new build property with only a small deposit of 5-10%. Lenders participating in the scheme will then provide a 90-95% loan to value mortgage for those who meet their qualifying criteria.
Properties available via NewBuy at Stretton Glen include plot six, a four-bedroom Stevenson style property. Priced at £299,000, this family home features an open plan kitchen and dining area, separate study and an en-suite master bedroom. As an added extra, this particular plot also comes complete with carpets and white goods.
“With a whole host of incentives and property styles available, we have something for everyone, from first time buyers to those looking to upgrade or downsize,” concluded Paul.
Stretton Glen launched late last year, offering a quality mix of three, four and five bedroom homes. The development’s village location, combined with easy access to Leicester city centre and great transport links, has made it one of the area’s most desirable neighbourhoods.
