A new home, wedding and family reunion for part exchange couple
Part exchange couple Emily Thomas and Adam Law are reaping the benefits of a brand new home in Leicestershire, while planning a fabulous wedding and an exciting family reunion.
The engaged couple have had a busy year so far, but by opting for the Linden Homes’ popular part exchange scheme at the Ashby Heights development in Coalville - moving home has been hassle free.
Customer service advisor Emily (29) and 33-year-old kitchen fitter Adam have recently moved into their trendy four-bedroom townhouse in their search to swap an old terrace property in Markfield for a brand new one – complete with spacious garden.
Emily explained: “Due to us buying our old house at the top end of the market around five years ago, and having very little deposit, we were unsure if we would have been able to buy a new home and what financial help if any was available.
“The ground floor of the home sold it to us, with the kitchen, dining and lounge area all open plan which is brilliant for entertaining. We’re also looking forward to opening the French doors, sitting in the garden having a glass of wine and a BBQ when the weather picks up!”
Through the part exchange scheme, Emily and Adam were able to sell their exisiting home hassle free, with Linden Homes obtaining two independent valuations on their behalf and managing the process.
Adam added: “We were surprised at just how easy it was. Linden Homes offered us a great price for our property leaving us free to buy such a fantastic new one. They arranged the valuations and we didn't have to do a thing.”
The couple, who have been together for seven years, now have time to concentrate on their forthcoming wedding in September.
Emily added: “We weren't planning on moving before the wedding but because the part exchange went so smoothly it just happened!”
The bride-to-be’s three brothers – one of whom will be giving her away on her big day – are travelling from Australia with their families for the wedding.
This will be the first time in 10 years that all four siblings have been together.
Emily added: “I feel so lucky so have been able to move to such a lovely home, get married and have all my brothers back in the space of a year. With so much going on I was a little worried how I would feel when all the excitement was over, but then I remembered it won't be that long until we will be getting ready for Christmas in our new home!”
