N&P Gold Classic Current Account offers extra benefits

Free debit card usage abroad is only one of a range of benefits offered by the Gold Classic Current Account from Norwich & Peterborough Building Society (N&P).

"Free card usage abroad is probably the best-known feature of our Gold Classic account," said Ewan Edwards, head of current accounts at N&P.

"Compared with other debit card providers you can save almost £12 in charges for each £250 ATM cash withdrawal you make overseas, as well as having no transaction charges to worry about when you're shopping and spending on your card.

"In addition, the Gold Classic account has extra free features which are unavailable elsewhere or which some other providers charge for.

"This contrasts with other current account providers, many of whom have been criticised for ‘packaged' current accounts which charge a monthly fee, sometimes for add-ons which the customer does not need.
