Going the extra mile is a phrase often overused – but for Linden Homes residents Marc and Trudi Foster, it’s a very fitting one for Housebuilder of the Year.

The couple recently moved to the Lindenwood development at Kingswood Parks near Hull, buying a brand new three-bedroom home through the part exchange scheme.

Having outgrown their existing two-bedroom house, Marc, Trudi and 11-year-old son Ethan are now settling into new surroundings in a house ‘perfect for their needs.’

Trudi said: “The whole purchase was easy and went really smoothly. The sales team have been superb and have bent over backwards to help us in any way they can.

“They went that extra mile – sending us a card and champagne when we moved which was a really nice touch. We’ve just been really pleased with the service from the start. We’ve not felt like just a plot number; we feel that we’ve been treated as individuals – everything we’ve needed Linden Homes has accommodated.”

“I can understand why they were awarded the title of Housebuilder of the Year.”

Trudi and Marc purchased through the popular part exchange scheme, which is a stress-free incentive to sell an existing property.

Under part exchange, Linden Homes will obtain two independent valuations on your existing property from local agents on your behalf.

Providing you and your existing property meet certain criteria, Linden Homes will then make you an offer for your existing property, based on the valuation reports by the local estate agents, leaving you free to reserve your new dream home.

And the Foster family has been so impressed with their Linden Homes experience, that they have now recommended a friend to the development, who is currently in the process of looking to reserve!

The new one, two, three and four-bedroom homes will also benefit from the newly created Kingswood Parks Local Centre – with Linden Homes working closely with planners and architects to achieve the location’s full potential for its residents.

As one of the largest mixed-use developments to be undertaken anywhere in the country over the past 20 years, on completion it comprise 5,000 new homes with its own employment park, leisure park and district centre.

Prices at Lindenwood currently range from £159,950 to £179,950 and some new homes are ready to move into now.
