Continuing to develop its art agenda 'A Brush with Art', 45 Park Lane, Dorchester Collection's new contemporary Mayfair hotel is to stage an October Art Week with the launch of 'A Brush with Frieze' and a furthering of its artistic breakfast series, 'A Brush with the Artist'.

Offered during the hotel's October Art Week, 'A Brush with Frieze' provides an overnight stay including tickets to Frieze Art Fair, breakfast and complimentary transfers between the hotel and art fair.  Priced from £635 plus 20% VAT the package includes:

Accommodation for two people
Breakfast for two as part of the 'A Brush with the Artist' series detailed below
Two tickets to Frieze Art Fair (available on 11, 12, 13 and 14th October)
A complimentary return transfer between 45 Park Lane and Frieze Art fair
A copy of the new release 45 Park Lane Art Book   

The artistic breakfast series, 'A Brush with the Artist' will continue through the week allowing serious art buyers and art lovers alike the chance to meet with some of Britain's finest contemporary artists, whose work adorns the hotel's rooms and suites.

Priced from £40 including breakfast with the artist, private viewing and studio transfers where applicable, the series 'A Brush with the Artist' takes place on the following dates during October Art Week:

9th October: with Martin Fuller followed by private studio tour in Brixton 10th October: with Roger McGough poetry reading and book signing   11th October: with Bruce McLean & Brad Faine followed by studio visit 13th October: with Brendan Neiland and private display of work 14th October: with Christian Furr and a private show of work

'A Brush with Art' is a furthering of the hotel's original art agenda which saw 45 Park Lane open its doors in September 2011 to showcase a spectacular gallery of art created by some of Britain's leading contemporary artists, and provide contemporary art lovers access to a series of exclusive art events. Rooms and suites on each floor at 45 Park Lane feature art by Sir Peter Blake, Damien Hirst, Joe Tilson, and Bill Wyman as well as the afore mentioned artists.

In May this year, Jane McAdam Freud, daughter of Lucian, hosted Friday breakfasts at CUT at 45 Park Lane before a private guided tour of 'Lucian Freud: Portraits at the National Portrait Gallery'.  Recently 45 Park Lane also announced its support for the Wells Art Contemporary Exhibition's inaugural Art Prize and Open Exhibition.

Dorchester Collection sets a precedent in hospitality for its connection with the art world; Parisian Palace hotel Le Meurice is now in its fifth year of organising the Meurice Prize for Contemporary Art, an international endowment for young French artists.
