Festive fun in a brand new home near Swadlincote could be on the cards for buyers who have the presence of mind to act now.

Selected properties at Priory Fields in Church Gresley are almost ready to move into.

And as a ‘gift’ to customers, award-winning Redrow is offering incentives to help get people moving including part exchange, Mastermove and 95% mortgages through the NewBuy initiative. Those who wrap up the purchase of a new home before Christmas will receive an added present in the shape of having the stamp duty paid by Redrow.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “The festive season may only be weeks away, but there’s still time for families to move in time for Christmas. In fact, even those with an existing property to sell could be unlocking the door to a brand new home before they’ve opened the first door on their advent calendar thanks to part exchange. Put simply, we will buy their old home from them so that they can buy one of ours.

“Alternatively, with our Mastermove service we will enlist the help of a tried and tested local agent to sell the customer’s home. There’s even the chance to own one of our stylish new homes with a 5% deposit and 95% mortgage with NewBuy.”

Priory Fields offers a good choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, priced from £116,995.

Among the properties ready and waiting to be called ‘home’ is the four-bedroom Ruthin, available from £189,995.

The Ruthin boasts an open plan kitchen and dining area, separate lounge plus a family room or study.

The kitchen is well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, including microwave, oven, and fridge freezer big enough for the turkey. With a kitchen like this, cooking Christmas dinner with all the trimmings will be a pleasure. There are also tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer a stylish storage solution for any extra mince pies.

Pauline said: “The bedrooms in the Ruthin are all well proportioned so for those on Santa’s ‘nice list’ there’ll be no need to worry about where to keep presents on Boxing Day and beyond. And for little ones who are concerned Santa won’t know they have moved in the run up to Christmas – our sales consultants will make sure the elves know!”

Located off Swadlincote Lane, Priory Fields enjoys a traditional village setting with easy access to the East Midlands motorway network. The nearby town of Swadlincote offers shops and other amenities; and for those who like the great outdoors there are plenty of cycle trails and woodland walks in the National Forest which surrounds the area.
