New show homes to provide more inspiration for Widnes homebuyers

Homebuyers in Widnes will be spoilt for choice when Redrow launches two further show homes next weekend (October 27 /28).
When the doors open to the luxurious new four and five-bedroom show homes at Lancaster Place, Lunts Heath Road, they will provide the perfect complement to those already open at nearby Barrow’s Green, and give buyers the chance to fully appreciate the wide choice on offer across Redrow’s two developments.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “With homes now on sale in two desirable locations in Widnes, and a total of four fabulous show homes soon to be available to view, we have a great deal to tempt a wide-range of purchasers. We hope the show homes will inspire buyers and help them to choose the home and the development that is the perfect fit for them.”
Lancaster Place, will eventually feature a choice of two to five-bedroom homes, including some of Redrow largest and most well-appointed properties. Here, a four-bedroom Richmond and a five-bedroom Blenheim have both been stylishly decorated and furnished by Redrow’s chosen team of interior designers.
Just a short distance away on Barrow’s Green Lane, a stunning collection of three and four-bedroom homes are on sale. The show homes here are a four-bedroom Cambridge and three-bedroom Warwick, two of Redrow’s most popular designs.
Both developments are on the northern and easterly fringes of Widnes, bordered by open fields, and within easy travel of Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester, as well as Widnes town centre.
They’re both a short distance from the M62 motorway for commuting, while Widnes train station – where Paul Simon famously wrote ‘Homeward Bound’ in 1965 – is just over a mile from Lancaster Place and offers journey times to Liverpool and Manchester of around 30 minutes.
Economically, Widnes is a place that’s on the up with significant inward investment in recent times. There’s approval for a second Mersey crossing, a new cinema and bowling alley have opened at The Hive leisure park, with a new ice rink soon to follow, there’s a recently opened £40 million Tesco Extra 24-hour store in the town, as well as the new Widnes Shopping Park with Marks & Spencer, Boots, Next, Bhs and Costa Coffee among its stores.
Redrow’s New Heritage Collection, which features at both Lancaster Place, and Barrow’s Green, has already won critical acclaim and awards, as well as customer approval.
“The traditional looking Arts & Crafts inspired exteriors are evocative of the homes many people grew up in, whilst inside they are bright, modern and full of family friendly features. As a result they offer the very best of both worlds – the period style features that people crave combined with all the modern day attributes they need for today’s busy lifestyles,” Anita added.
At Lancaster Place, four-bedroom homes are priced from £281,995 to £439,995.
Nearby at Barrow’s Green, three and four-bedroom detached homes currently range from £201,995 to £279,995.
The opportunity to purchase any of the homes with a 95% mortgage through NewBuy will make them even more attractive.
