Parkside delight kicks off sales at Acton Gardens

Countryside Properties and L&Q have launched for sale the first selection of new apartments at Acton Gardens, in London W3. The first apartments are located on Bollo Bridge Road overlooking the park allowing the open location and crisp, contemporary designs to create light, airy and spacious homes. There is a wide range of apartments offering one, two and three bedrooms and all have a balcony or an enclosed winter garden.
Acton Gardens is a major new regeneration project that has been planned to create a new urban village. Over several years of development it will incorporate a series of smaller local neighbourhoods, arranged with traditional tree-lined streets, parks and play areas. New public squares will include a station square and café. There will be ‘character’ areas with different styles and sizes of property, together with well-planned communal gardens and courtyards, pathways, keep fit trails and areas designed either as ‘quiet’ corners or as places for residents to meet.
Green roofs, solar panels and an energy centre to supply some of the development’s heat and power are just some of the environmentally friendly features that at Acton Gardens will deliver sustainable living and reduce the carbon footprint. Resident comfort has not been forgotten either, with all current apartments being fitted with walnut effect laminate flooring, carpets and tiled floors in kitchens and bathrooms. The apartment doors are in walnut veneer, the windows are double glazed and all appliances are integrated in the contemporary high gloss kitchens.
Acton’s high street has a good selection of shops and amenities and slightly further afield is nearby Chiswick, which is popular for its niche shops and eateries. Acton Gardens offers the convenience of city centre living, yet the open spaces of Gunnersbury Park and Acton Park are close by. Just seven miles from central London, Acton Gardens offers good transport connections with South Acton railway station less than five minutes walk. Acton Town and Chiswick Park Underground stations are also less than 15 minutes walk from the development, providing a service that takes just 38 minutes to Bank and 42 minutes to Canary Wharf. In 2017, Crossrail comes to Acton main Line station too, bringing improved new connections. Frequent flyers will also like the development’s proximity to Heathrow Airport.
Prices for apartments at Acton Gardens start at £235,000 and range up to £450,000. ‘Early bird’ offers are currently available of either five per cent deposit or stamp duty or legal fees paid. The first homes are due to be complete in January 2013. For further information about property for sale at Acton Gardens, visit actongardens.co.uk.
