Miller Homes spells out options for buyers

23rd October 2012 Print

Miller Homes West Midlands is reminding buyers in the region of the bewitching offers it has available this Halloween to make moving an affordable treat.

The housebuilder is currently offering a range of incentives to make the buying process as flexible as possible and to cater for all budgets.

Paul Walters, regional sales manager for Miller Homes in the West Midlands, said: “We often see a surge of interest around Halloween as it’s the ideal time to buy to make sure that you can be in your new home for the start of the new year.

“It therefore seems like the ideal time to remind buyers of the options available to them to help them get onto the property ladder, to buy a bigger property or to downsize. There’s no magic or witchcraft involved as these offers are all designed to make purchasing as easy and affordable as possible.”

Amongst Miller Homes’ current purchase incentives are: · NewBuy - this Government-backed scheme allows a home to be purchased with only a small deposit of 5-10%. Participating lenders then provide a 90-95% loan to value mortgage for those who meet the qualifying criteria.

FirstBuy – designed to help first time buyers into affordable home ownership, FirstBuy allows qualifying buyers to purchase 100% of their chosen home by paying up to 80% of the value now, with both Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remaining 20% in the form of an equity loan.

MiWay - Miller Homes’ very own equity loan scheme, allowing eligible buyers to purchase 100% of their home whilst only needing to find finance for 85%. Purchasers receive a loan from Miller Homes for up to 15% of the purchase price of their selected property, leaving them to arrange a mortgage for the more affordable remaining amount.

Home Exchange – allows buyers to swap their old home for a brand new Miller property. For those meeting the qualifying criteria, Miller Homes will buy the property based on independent valuations and take full responsibility for the marketing of the house, allowing buyers to move into their new home in as little as four weeks.

Miller Homes has a number of developments in the West Midlands, including Littleton Green in Cannock, Miller Point in Coventry and Miller Central in Birmingham.
