A North Somerset spa is offering visitors stress-busting treatments as part of National Stress Awareness Week.

thespa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House is running a special massage upgrade from Monday 5 November to Friday 9 November, meaning anyone who books a back massage will be upgraded to a full-body massage free of charge.

Manager of thespa Sophie Joules said: “Nowadays life is so hectic for people that we rarely take time to concentrate on ourselves and realise how stressed we really are.

“Long working hours, busy lifestyles and looking after children can all result in feeling over-stressed. At thespa we are keen to promote stress awareness and we’re urging people to take time for themselves to relax and rejuvenate.

“Spending just a few hours a week on yourself can be immensely beneficial in the long-run. You’ll feel more energetic and happy and it will enable you to tackle everyday life better.

“Visit us during this week and receive a full-body massage for a fraction of the usual price. A little pampering can go a long way and people will see what a difference it can make.”

The full-body massage is based on traditional Swedish techniques and is designed to relax, warm and ease the mind and muscles.

Last year the award-winning spa benefited from a new extension, adding extra treatment rooms, a new reception area and a relaxation area. An exclusive venue set within the grounds of a four-star boutique hotel, it offers the very latest in spa treatments, relaxing spa days and overnight spa breaks.

Sophie continued: “Taking care of our minds and bodies is so important; I really hope people take advantage of this offer and we can promote wellbeing in the local area.”

Book a back massage at thespa from 5-9 November for £32 and receive a full-body massage upgrade usually costing £50.
