Higher property prices, increased pressure on household incomes and greater restrictions on mortgages have made it increasingly difficult for homebuyers to secure a new property. However, award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson is making dream living more affordable for homebuyers in Derby with its EasyBuy scheme. At Denby Bank in Marehay, homebuyers can secure a four bedroom home for just £148,708.

With EasyBuy, purchasers of the scheme have an opportunity to own 100 per cent of their new home at 85 per cent of the price, paying no rent or interest on the outstanding 15 per cent for the first five years. The EasyBuy scheme provides an excellent opportunity for homebuyers to buy their home whilst removing some of the initial financial burden, perfect for first time buyers trying to get a foot on the property ladder.

Unlike similar schemes, with Crest Nicholson’s EasyBuy there is absolutely no rent to pay or interest accrued on the outstanding 15% of the property’s equity for the first five years. The remaining 15% is left outstanding as a loan for up to ten years secured by a second mortgage. The customer pays 0% interest fixed on the outstanding 15% for the first five years and only 3% interest pa (typical 3.00% APR) thereafter.

Amanda Benjamin, Senior Sales Manager for Crest Nicholson, said: “The current climate has meant it has been very challenging for buyers to get onto and move up the property ladder. EasyBuy not only means that first-time buyers can stop lining their landlord’s pockets and own a home of their own, but that those looking for a new property have the chance to make their budget go that bit further and perhaps afford a bigger property than they would otherwise have expected.

“Our EasyBuy scheme at Denby Bank helps buyers to secure their desired home and alleviates some of the initial financial burden, in terms of a large deposit or high interest payments. We currently have a four bedroom Worcester house available with Easybuy and would recommend potential purchasers come and take a look around soon, before this house is snapped up.”

Denby Bank’s impressive Worcester house offers four bedrooms, set over three floors. There is a spacious living room, cloakroom and kitchen / dining room on the ground floor, three bedrooms and the family bathroom on the first floor and a master suite on the top floor boasting a walk-in dressing area and en-suite bathroom.

Situated on the outskirts of Marehay in Ripley, Denby Bank is located in the beautiful Amber Valley area, which is within close proximity to a number of larger towns and cities making it a popular location to live. The development offers a beautiful collection of one, two, three and four bedroom homes, all designed to provide the best in modern comfort, efficiency and economical benefits you would expect from a new build home

Prices at Denby Bank currently start at £144,950 for a three bedroom Hereford house and £148,708 for the four bedroom Worcester house with EasyBuy.
