Local housebuilder Morris is helping Warrington first-time buyers get on the property ladder by offering its Great Start scheme at its Edgewater Park development.

Under the Great Start scheme, people can significantly reduce their monthly payments and only need to put down five per cent deposit as they purchase their new home at 80 per cent of its market value.

In another effort to help first timers Morris is offering furniture packages on selected properties including everything from sofas and beds to crockery for the kitchen.

Chris Minshall, regional sales director for Morris, said: “We understand that the process of buying a first home is a whole new experience and can seem quite daunting. We want to make the process as easy possible which is why we have made this scheme and package available at Edgewater Park.

“New build homes are ideal for first-time buyers as they are subject to greater sustainability and energy efficient building regulations so further savings can be made on energy bills.”

Located off Thelwall Lane, the attractive canal side development is situated less than a ten minute drive from Warrington town centre with easy access to the M56 for commuting to Manchester and Chester.

Morris has a range of two, three and four bedroom properties available at Edgewater Park priced from £123,750.

For more information on the properties and schemes available at Edgewater Park, visit the sales office off Thelwall Lane, WA4 1GD (open daily from 10:30am to 5:30pm), or see morrishomes.co.uk.
