Morris brings new homes to South Staffordshire

28th November 2012 Print

Local housebuilder Morris Homes is bringing its award-winning properties to househunters in South Staffordshire with the construction of its new Hatherton Place development in the village of Cheslyn Hay.

The site on New Horse Road will be home to a mix of 32 two, three and four-bedroom mews and detached properties.

Homes at the development will be available to buyers in the New Year. The properties are conveniently located just a short drive from Cannock town centre with good local transport links and essential amenities and schools close by.

Cindy Vials, regional sales director at Morris, said: “Hatherton Place offers the perfect balance between a tranquil countryside setting in an old mining village, and good commuter links to nearby towns such as Cannock and Walsall.

“The range of traditional, quality homes will appeal to a mix of buyers looking for a stylish property that doesn’t require the same renovations as second hand homes. The properties offer househunters long term savings on their household bills due to the higher energy efficient standards they are built to compared to older homes.”

Buyers looking to purchase a property at Hatherton Place can make the move a simpler process with the Government-led NewBuy scheme. This enables househunters to apply for a 95 per cent mortgage, significantly reducing the deposit needed.
