The wait is nearly over for buyers keen to see inside show homes at a Merseyside development.

Properties at The Avenue at Summerhill Park in Thingwall Lane have been selling ‘off plan’ since the summer. Up until now purchasers have had to rely on floor plans or visit other Redrow developments in the region, but from January 12 they will be able to view two fully furnished show homes.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “Nine customers have had the confidence to reserve properties at The Avenue at Summerhill Park ‘off plan’. Many more are eagerly awaiting the opening of the three-bedroom Letchworth and four-bedroom Oxford show homes before making a commitment. Redrow has also taken several ‘early bird’ reservations from those who are keen to live in specific homes within the development.

“There’s a real buzz about Summerhill Park and people are really excited about the show homes opening. One of the advantages of buying in a development’s early stages is that there are more properties to choose from and buyers have a greater chance of securing a home in their preferred position. Plus, if you are buying early in the build process you have more likelihood of being able to personalise the interior.”

The three-bedroom Letchworth and four-bedroom Oxford show homes have been dressed to impress by professional interior designers to give the impression of lived in homes that are both family friendly and aspirational.

Externally the Letchworth may look like a 1930s semi, but inside it’s bright and modern.

The open plan kitchen and dining room spans the width of the property with French doors that open onto the rear garden, offering lots of natural light and helping to bring the outside ‘in’. There’s a separate lounge, plus a laundry and cloakroom on the ground floor.

The four-bedroom Oxford also boasts a combined kitchen and dining room, with the utility offering extra storage as well providing a dedicated space for the washer and dryer.

In both properties there’s an en-suite to the master bedroom to complement the family bathroom.

“A visit to the new show homes at The Avenue at Summerhill Park will enable purchasers to appreciate the layouts, quality and finish of our homes and see which best suits their lifestyle,” Claire added.

“Many will be pleasantly surprised at the high specification, which includes integrated kitchen appliances such as oven and fridge freezer as standard. Tall cabinets and extra wide drawers offer plenty of storage and, thanks to the soft close fittings, parents won’t have to worry about little fingers getting trapped.”

To be among the first to see inside the show homes at The Avenue at Summerhill Park, visit the development from January 12.
