Building begins at landmark residential development in Camden

Work has begun on the newest residential development in Camden, Regent Canalside by Taylor Wimpey Central London. Once complete, the development will provide 54 new homes and rejuvenate the canal area.

Taylor Wimpey Central London and contractor Willmott Dixon celebrated the beginning of work at Regent Canalside with a special groundbreaking ceremony on November 19th.

Willmott Dixon presented Vincent Monaghan, Projects Director at Taylor Wimpey Central London, with an engraved spade to make the first cut into the soil.

Vincent comments: “Taylor Wimpey Central London is very pleased to be working with Willmott Dixon, the principal contractor, on the new Regent Canalside site.

“It is the beginning of a solid partnership and given both companies track records in London development, we are confident that the end result will exceed all expectations.”

Scheduled for completion in late 2013, the development is significant to the local area and will rejuvenate the often forgotten canals of Camden, whilst providing luxurious housing in a well-connected and popular part of the capital.
