Aspiring homeowners struggling to step on the property ladder are being urged to visit NR1, Taylor Wimpey’s development of new apartments for sale in Norwich, Norfolk.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency and Taylor Wimpey, which boosts the purchaser’s own deposit and enables them to access a wider range of affordable mortgage deals. The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold, and to be eligible, purchasers must be first-time buyers and their total household earnings should be less than £60,000.

One-bedroom ‘Sewell’ apartments at NR1 priced from £124,995 are available to qualifying first-time buyers for FirstBuy prices starting at £99,995, including a 5% deposit from only £6,250.

These impressive apartments each feature a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living room and a generous master bedroom, both with access to a private balcony, plus a main bathroom off the entrance hallway.

Alternatively, two-bedroom apartments are available at NR1 from only £162,995.
