New phase of homes available at Speakman Gardens
House hunters in Prescot have been snapping up the range of homes at Taylor Wimpey’s North West’s Speakman Gardens development, so much so that the housebuilder has now released a new phase of properties to meet demand.

The first properties to be released on the new phase include the three bedroom Hemsworth and Bancroft homes.
Priced from just £149,995 (or from as little as £119,996 through FirstBuy) the Bancroft design brings home ownership within reach for prospective first time buyers and young professionals alike.

FirstBuy works through a joint loan of 20 per cent from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need put down a five per cent deposit and obtain a 75 per cent loan-to-value mortgage. The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold. To be eligible, purchasers must be first time buyers and the total household earning should be less than £60,000.
NewBuy is accessible to all credit-worthy first time buyers and home movers across England, and is available on new build properties up to the value of £500,000. Through the Government-backed scheme purchasers can access 95 per cent mortgages and only need pay a minimum deposit of five per cent of the value of the property.
