Final six family homes at Thornton Cross

A flurry of recent sales means there are now only six homes available at Thornton Cross near Crosby.

Following recent sales success Elan Homes is encouraging prospective purchasers to get in touch without delay if they want to secure one of the remaining homes at the development in Water Street.

The good news for homeowners is that having a house to sell doesn’t have to be a barrier to moving as part exchange is available to help them climb the property ladder. With homes that are almost ready to be occupied, buyers could find they’re just weeks away from moving into their ideal home.

Andrew Robertson, senior sales manager for Elan Homes in the North, says: “Set in an established residential area, Thornton Cross offers the chance to own a stylish new home with a high specification in a location that has it all. There are good local amenities nearby plus both the beach and Liverpool city centre are only a short distance away so residents can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach and easy access to the high street stores and thriving nightlife in the city.

“It’s no surprise that people are keen to call the development ‘home’ and as work has progressed we’ve seen an influx of enquiries from house hunters. Some visitors have been worried they will miss out as they have yet to sell their current home. We’re delighted to explain they don’t have to be held back by market conditions and that in fact several of those who’ve already moved in have used part exchange to secure their new home. It really is quite simple – we will take the customer’s home off their hands and put the value towards a new one.”

Part exchange is designed to make moving easy and stress free. It speeds up the buying process by eliminating the uncertainty of having to secure a buyer and becoming entangled in a complicated chain, leaving customers free to move to brand new home.

Elan will arrange for the customer’s home to be valued by two local agents before making an offer on that property to help facilitate a move and all done within seven days.

The transaction could be complete in as little as 28 days with no hidden costs or hold ups.

The developer will pay for the survey and the agent’s fees and customers will even be able to stay in their current property until the new one is ready.

Despite the limited availability at Thornton Cross, there’s still the chance to choose from three different house styles. Each with four-bedrooms, they’re available from £249,995.

The high specification homes include quality fitted kitchens with oven and hob; contemporary bathrooms and en-suite master bedrooms with thermostatically controlled showers.

For more information about the homes available visit Thornton Cross, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm, see elan-homes.co.uk.
