FirstBuy helps Hinckley house hunters get on the ladder

Award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson is helping first-time buyers get on the property ladder in Hinckley, where homes at the desirable Canal Reach development can be snapped up for 80% of the property’s price, through the FirstBuy initiative.

The scheme is designed to help struggling first-time buyers into the property market in a way that they can afford. Purchasers will own 100% of their home for just 80% of the price, as Crest Nicholson and the government-backed Homes and Communities Agency offer a loan of up to 20% of the full purchase price. The loan is interest free for the first five years, after which a fee of 1.75% is payable. Loans must be repaid when the home is sold.

FirstBuy is now available on selected plots of the three bedroom Huntingdon, Kennet and Hanbrook house types at Canal Reach.
