Rally fans look set to flock to a new Subaru dealer opening on Sunday November 26, timed for the start of the Wales Rally GB.

Subaru and Isuzu dealer, CVC Cardiff is expecting more than 500 people to attend the official launch of its new £2.3m premises at Hadfield Hall, Hadfield Road, Cardiff.

For not only is Cardiff the host city for one of the world’s oldest rallies but Subaru has many local motor sport supporters and an envied record in winning the event.

Subaru driver, Petter Solberg has finished first in the last four events, with the late Richard Burns driving to victory in 1999 and 2000.

CVC Dealer Principal, Jason Williams, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our new £2.3m premises and 36 car showroom and we will have a rally car simulator, rally car replica and members of Subaru’s WRC team on hand to add to the interest.

“On the Isuzu side we are planning several competitions including a ‘Rodeo Riding’ mechanical bull with a prize for the person who stays on the longest.”

CVC Cardiff began as a Subaru and Isuzu dealer in 1998, originally based in Cambridge Road East, about one mile from its new premises.
