Impreza WRX STI rapid response car for Goodwood

Goodwood Circuit has taken delivery of a Subaru Impreza WRX STI as a rapid response vehicle dealing with all types of track-related emergencies.

Fitted with a Prodrive Performance Pack which raises power to 320 PS and reduces the 0-60 mph time to 4.8 seconds, the motorsport icon will also feature various items of safety equipment.

It will also be used for driver familiarisation runs prior to members of the public taking to the wheel in other vehicles.

Subaru (UK) Limited Executive Director, Sales and Marketing, Lawrence Good, recently handed over the car to Goodwood Circuit Manager, Mark Featherstone.

Meanwhile, Subaru will be supplying cars to Prodrive which is to launch a drive day programme at Goodwood. A key attraction includes the opportunity to drive a Subaru Impreza Group N rally car on a purpose-built WRC stage.
