Captain Jack tackles Sweet Lamb

Torchwood’s Captain Jack Harkness, played by John Barrowman, swapped fighting aliens to tackle one of the world’s most challenging rally stages, Sweet Lamb in mid-Wales.

A car enthusiast, Barrowman jumped at the chance to drive the latest Prodrive Impreza N2009 around one of the stages used during Wales Rally GB in the World Rally Championship.

After being shown the stage and taught the fundamentals of rally driving by the by former British race and rally driver, Tiff Needell, Barrowman took to the wheel to set his own stage time in the 270 bhp Subaru Impreza, the same car which leads the Production World Rally Championship.
