Little Paddock launches Mini Moon short break packages

Little Paddock, a collection of ‘adult only’, Scandinavian-style wooden lodges on the edge of the New Forest National Park, has introduced ‘mini moons’ for newly-weds who only have time for a short break following their ceremony, or for those who might already have children that they can’t (or don’t want to) leave for too long.

The nine eye-catching wooden lodges – some of which are triangular in shape – are each designed for just two people, and have been individually decorated with romance in mind.

Three of the lodges have circular beds (with heart-shaped pillows!), one has a four-poster bed, there are two hot tubs and guests can expect to see petals on the bed when they arrive.*

There are two packages available to add to a standard three night stay; ‘Dine In’ and ‘Dine Out’.

The ‘Dine In’ package includes Champagne, a bouquet of red roses, truffles and strawberries and flower petals sprinkled around the lodge. It also includes a meal prepared by local chefs which is delivered to the lodge and can be simply popped in the oven to warm through, accompanied by house wine. The package, including three nights’ accommodation costs from £203 pp.

The ‘Dine Out package’ includes Champagne, a bouquet of red roses, truffles and strawberries, flower sprinkled around the lodge and a meal at 'Al Trullo', a local Italian Restaurant, for a 3 course romantic meal with a bottle of house wine (and a taxi there and back). The package, including three nights’ accommodation costs from £218 pp.

Other optional extras for both breaks include a breakfast hamper or a visiting masseuse.

Little Paddock has two hot tubs, a swimming pool, sauna, small tennis court and an al fresco residents’ bar.

It is also on the doorstep of the Avon Heath Country Park (perfect for romantic walks) and ideally placed to explore the villages and pubs of the New Forest National Park.
