New homes bring £1.12 million investment to Mapperley

Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey East Midlands is investing nearly £1.12 million in local community facilities as part of its Lime Tree Gardens development in Mapperley, Nottinghamshire.

The money is being provided to local authorities to improve existing public services and infrastructure as construction work continues at the development of high-quality family homes, located off Spring Lane.

The £1,188,015 pledged by Taylor Wimpey in association with Lime Tree Gardens includes £577,495 towards improving public open space and recreation areas in the locality, £341,020 towards local education provision, £140,700 towards transport infrastructure and £128,800 towards healthcare services.

Almost 40% of the financial contributions have already been provided by the housebuilder, with the remainder to being phased as the development continues to take shape over the next two years.
