Taylor Wimpey’s Winnington development opens for business

The new Northwich housing scheme Winnington Village, has been given a boost with house-builder Taylor Wimpey announcing its sales centre is now open.

Taylor Wimpey officially opened its doors to buyers on Saturday 1st June, following hundreds of enquiries for their new homes. The developer will build around 300 houses in a range of two, three and four bedroom designs; with multiple financial schemes available to aid prospective buyers.

Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester commented: “Winnington Village is a fantastic regeneration scheme which we are proud to be a part of. The new homes we are creating are the perfect blend of space and style in stunning Cheshire surroundings.

“Along with the several styles on offer, we are thrilled to also be offering the new government-backed Help to Buy initiative where buyers can benefit from securing a property with just a five per cent deposit.”

Help to Buy gives both first-time buyers and existing home-owners the option of securing a home up to the value of £600,000 with only a five per cent deposit. Buyers will also benefit from a 20 per cent government loan, and just a 75 per cent loan-to-value mortgage.

Along with the new homes, the joint developer scheme at Winnington Village will provide an economic boost through a range of new leisure and retail facilities, which Anthony believes will be key to the scheme’s projected success.

He concluded: “We haven’t seen such a vast level of enquiries at this stage of a development before so we are really excited about the future at Winnington Village.
