New homes available at Morris Homes' Burton-upon-Trent development

Morris Homes has launched a range of new two and three-bedroom homes at its popular Paget Green development Burton-upon-Trent.

The new homes can be purchased using the Government backed Help to Buy scheme, which can make it easier for buyers to get onto, or move up, the property ladder.

Under the scheme buyers need only save five per cent of the value of the property as a deposit. They are then supported by the Government, which provides a 20 per cent equity loan that is interest free for the first five years of the loan.

This means that the new properties at Paget Green can be purchased with a deposit of just £6,487.

The two-bedroom Budworth and three-bedroom Chatsworth homes are in the early stages of the build process, and buyers looking to purchase one of the properties can take advantage of the flexibility of buying off plan. This allows homebuyers to personalise their home by choosing elements including the style of their kitchen and the colour of the bathroom tiles.

Saving for large deposits is often the biggest hurdle that potential buyers face, but the scheme offers a helping hand onto the property ladder by removing this obstacle.”

Paget Green is close to local amenities on Burton-upon-Trent’s high street and the nearby motorway network is ideal for commuting into Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Birmingham.

The new properties at Paget Green are priced from £129,750, or £103,800 with Help to Buy.
