Stunning G-Class “iron mountain” to appear at Mercedes-Benz World

An exhilarating 4x4 passenger ride is coming to the UK for the first time as part of the biggest summer ever at Mercedes-Benz World.
 
From 29 July, for 10 days only, visitors to the Mercedes-Benz brand experience centre in Weybridge, Surrey, will be able to take a 100% climb up a man-made “iron mountain”, tackle a mid-air see-saw and experience a gripping 45 degree descent back down to earth as passengers in the breathtaking G-Class Vertical Experience.
 
The G-Class is the most rugged car in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, but in reality, few people ever get the chance to experience it being pushed to its limits.
 
But that’s about to change.
 
Mercedes-Benz engineers used their expertise to devise as many ways as possible to test and challenge the formidable off-roader to ensure that it continues its legacy of being able to conquer any terrain.  That’s why they created the G-Class Vertical Experience.
 
Built to replicate a mountain near the Graz plant in Austria where the G-Class is tested all year round, this immense man-made iron structure provides one of the most extreme tests possible.
 
From 29 July until 8 August, visitors to Mercedes-Benz World can experience every thrilling inch of this extreme test for themselves and discover what it feels like to drive a 4x4 vehicle 10 metres up into the air.
 
G-Class Vertical Experience passenger rides cost £10 per person and are available to purchase on the day of your visit at the Information Desk. Alternatively, when you redeem an adult or Under 16s Driving Experience they cost just £5 per person.
 
The G-Class Vertical Experience is just one of the many new attractions and exhibitions in the biggest summer ever at Mercedes-Benz World.
 
The whole family can see the Stars and their Cars new celebrity exhibition, then watch the Silver Arrows Display Team put on a breathtaking performance of awe-inspiring performance driving,before experiencing their skills for real with a thrilling Silver Arrows Hot Lap.

Youngsters can enjoy their first drive in a miniature Mercedes-Benz at the indoor Little Learners area and Mum and Dad can treat themselves to a thrilling AMG or 4x4 off-road Driving Experience.
 
There are Under 16s Driving Experiences and lots to keep the whole family entertained.
