Bentley Prague moves up to full dealership status

Bentley Prague, which has been operating as a service point for Bentley owners in the Czech Republic since October 2004, celebrates a significant milestone on 1 August 2009 with the opening of its new showroom, signifying a move to full sales dealership status within the growing Bentley dealer network.

The showroom, which is located at Freyova 95 in Prague will initially be able to display a limited selection of Bentley models. However, plans are already advanced for a larger showroom, which will be sited on the first floor at the same address and is due to open towards the end of 2010.

Bentley, which is based in Crewe, England, is famous for building powerful, hand-crafted grand tourers to the highest levels of performance and craftsmanship.

At this year's Geneva Motor Show the company unveiled the Continental Supersports, the first-ever flex-fuel Bentley. The Supersports is the fastest, most powerful Bentley ever, yet is capable of running on E85 biofuel with no loss of power or refinement. Power is a remarkable 630 PS / 463kW and it will reach 100km/h from a standing start in just 3.9 seconds.

Bentley Prague is operated by Auto Exner, whose network of dealerships also includes other Volkswagen Group brands. The new dealership will represent the Bentley marque throughout the Czech Republic, in which there are currently some 160 Bentley owners.

At the Brno Motor Show on June 5, Michael Mayer, Regional Director Europe and UK, welcomed the addition of Bentley Prague to the Bentley sales network and expressed every confidence in its future success: "We have worked with the team at Bentley Prague for five years now, and we know they will meet this new challenge with their usual professionalism and passion for the marque."
