Buyers need to act now to avoid missing out

12th August 2013 Print

One of Surrey’s leading housebuilders is urging customers looking for their next home to act quickly to avoid missing out on a range of offers to make their dream move a reality.

Sharon Eldred, head of sales at Charles Church Southern, explains that time may be running out to make the move. She says: “Mulberry Place is a charming, intimate collection of just 14 homes in the picturesque village of Lower Bourne, Farnham.

“The site is proving extremely popular with over 75 per cent of the development sold within two months of the show home opening. Our Home Change and Help to Buy schemes, combined with the benefits of buying at the early stages of development, mean that Mulberry Place is selling faster than anticipated and buyers should act fast to ensure they don’t miss out as there are just three properties remaining.”

The development on Frensham Road consists of a range of detached and semi-detached two, three and four bedroom properties that are complemented by allocated off street parking designed to suit young professionals, couples and families alike.

The three-bedroom Weybourne house type is perfectly suited for contemporary modern living and comprises a spacious kitchen/dining area and a living room with doors to the rear garden. Upstairs benefits from a large master bedroom with ensuite, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Set beside the wonderfully secluded Bourne Woods, Mulberry Place boasts the best of both worlds enjoying a village setting with a pub, local school and amenities, and Farnham town centre less than two miles away.
Road and rail links in the area are excellent with regular trains from Farnham to London Waterloo taking around an hour, and the A31 running through the town providing access to Guildford, Farnborough, the M3 and M25.

The Weybourne Home of the Week is now available at £430,000 with carpets throughout and turf to the rear garden.

The government’s Help to Buy Scheme, launched by the Chancellor in his budget speech earlier this year, is helping many buyers purchase a new home. Customers are able to secure their purchase with a deposit of just five per cent. This is then combined with an equity loan from the Government which is interest free for the first five years, equating to 20 per cent of the property’s value. A mortgage is then secured on the remaining 75 per cent meaning lower mortgage repayments in the first stages of the loan.

Charles Church’s Home Change scheme is also proving popular. Sharon adds: “Home Change is an excellent scheme that can help buyers to make their next move more quickly. Under the scheme Charles Church sales advisors take the hassle out of selling the buyer’s existing property leaving them free to concentrate on moving into their new home. They will arrange valuations, agree a price and then market the property. There are no estate agent fees or headaches - everything is taken care of.

“Customers have complete control over the price of their existing property under the Home Change scheme as the price is agreed to ensure they can move into their new property.
