Bellway Homes’ development at So-Stepney is located in an area of East London which is becoming increasingly attractive for those looking to buy a home in the capital, according to the latest London Housing Fundamentals Index from the Centre for Economics and Business Research.

The combination of excellent transport links, high quality local facilities and quality of life are all contributing to making areas such as Stratford, Bow and Stepney Green popular with homebuyers.

So-Stepney is a collection of stylish one, two & three bedroom apartments. Its prime location close to The Royal London Hospital, Queen Mary University, whose Whitechapel campus encompasses Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and the Blizard Institute of Cell and Molecular Science, make it an ideal location for medical staff.

Peter Knights, Sales Director at Bellway Homes, Thames Gateway comments: “So-Stepney is ideally situated for travel across London with superb transport links which include the London underground, overground rail services, the Docklands Light Railway and bus services. There are plenty of leisure activities on offer from walks along Canary Wharf Riverside, to relaxing in one of the many local bars or restaurants.”

Currently available are two and three bedroom apartments in a variety of layouts with prices starting at £369,995. All apartments feature spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining areas with doors to the balcony and a separate utility area. The master bedrooms benefit from en-suite shower rooms and fitted wardrobes. The third bedroom in the larger apartments offers extra space which could double as a study or additional living room.

The contemporary kitchen units come complete with matching upstand and soft close doors and drawers. The range of appliances includes an AEG stainless steel oven and ceramic hob, extractor hood and stainless steel splashback, an integrated fridge/freezer and duo microwave and grill. The bathrooms feature Roca white sanitaryware with chrome taps. Security is provided by a video door entry system and there is a lift to all floors.
The local area is steeped in history with St Dunstan's Church dating back to the 10th century. St Dunstan's has a long association with the sea, being responsible for registration of British maritime births, marriages and deaths until the 19th century.

Stepney is well served for public transport by the London underground stations at Mile End, Stepney Green and Whitechapel, as well as London overground services and the local bus network.

So-Stepney is located close to Canary Wharf Riverside and there are also a number of local parks and green spaces close by. For the ultimate shopping experience Westfield Stratford City is less than five miles away and there is a whole host of local pubs, bars and restaurants.

Prices range from £369,995 for a two bedroom apartment and from £409,995 for a three bedroom apartment. Extra assistance is available through the Government backed Help to Buy scheme. For more information, visit bellway.co.uk.
