Morris launches first show home at Leicester development

Morris Homes has unveiled the first show home at its Abbey Quarter development in Leicester following high demand from local buyers keen to see the style of the properties at the city centre site.

The housebuilder has teamed up with interior designers Marren to furnish a three-bedroom three-storey Belton home to give buyers a flavour of how their new build house could look. Interest in the properties has been high, with 20 homes already sold since the Abbey Park Road site opened six months ago.

The style of the show home reflects the contemporary multi-level design of the house, with statement oak furniture complimented by hues of cream and opulent emerald tones and chrome finishings throughout the property.

The three-storey home has an expansive master bedroom spanning the top floor of the house with a spacious en-suite attached, and the flexible layout makes the property ideal for first-time buyers.

Support for first-time buyers looking to buy a property at the Abbey Quarter is available with the Help to Buy scheme. The Government initiative means they can get onto the property ladder with just a five per cent deposit, making home ownership in Leicester city centre an affordable option.
