Breast Cancer Awareness Month at top spa

One of the region’s top spas is hosting a special month of activity to support Breast Cancer Awareness in October.

TheSpa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House is supporting the national initiative by offering special packages throughout the month to North Somerset customers. Managers will also be holding a special event on Monday 28 October to raise money for the campaign.

The evening will begin with pink bubbly and cupcakes and guests will be offered a choice of six luxury treatments.

Also during the whole month of October, visitors can take advantage of a package which includes a mini manicure, mini pedicure and a ‘Think Pink’ Beauty Heroes gift bag by spa experts Elemis. The gift set includes the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm and the Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment for neck and bust.

The package is on offer for £55 instead of the usual £82 and spa-goers have the chance to upgrade to a spa day with lunch for just £20.

Michelle Ferguson, manager of thespa said: “We wanted to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month in some way so have decided to create a special package for October as well as holding an evening at the end of the month to pamper guests and raise funds.

“The evening is going to be very special and a great way to treat yourself at the same time as supporting a fab cause. The treatments available are a scalp massage, Elemis facial, a skin scan, hand treatment or foot treatment. All of these are suitable for cancer patients so we’d love to see anyone suffering come along and indulge in a little treat.”

thespa is a luxury venue within the grounds of DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House. Set against the backdrop of the rolling Somerset countryside, it is the perfect location for relaxation and rejuvenation. The award winning spa has a wide treatment menu and uses some of the world’s finest spa brands including Elemis and Pevonia Botanica.

There is a £15 booking fee for the event on 28 October with £5 going towards Breast Cancer Research and £10 redeemable against two or more products purchased on the day.
