Now is the time to buy with Redrow in Chester

With the latest research from Halifax showing that on average it’s £900 a year cheaper to buy than rent in the UK, Redrow has an added incentive for first time buyers in Chester.

The housebuilder is offering the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme on all of its properties at Crown Park, in Huntington, including spacious two, three, four and five- bedroom homes.

The offer means that all houses are available for just a 5% deposit and purchasers can take out a 20% equity loan from the Government.

And with house prices expected to rise by nearly a quarter by 2018, according to The Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR), the properties at Crown Park represent a considerable investment opportunity to any buyer.

Even those who already own their own home can use the Help to Buy scheme as it is open to any buyer purchasing a property below £600,000.

“We’ve been saying for quite some time that it is a good time to buy and these latest statistics from the Halifax and the CEBR prove it,” says Redrow (NW) sales director Anita Williams.

“Homes are still competitively priced, interest rates remain low and with incentives such as Help to Buy enabling our customers to purchase without a large deposit, would-be home owners should be asking themselves whether they can afford not to buy.”
