As first time buyer numbers soar to a six year high, a team of experts are offering advice on how to take advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy initiative in Garston.

Lovell is staging a special Help to Buy weekend at its Church Fields development, with advisors on hand to explain how the scheme works, this Saturday and Sunday (November 9 & 10).

With lenders reporting an increase in the number of first time buyers qualifying for mortgages, aspirational buyers who want to join the rush can find out more at the development off Raglan Close.

Sales consultants and mortgage advisors will be present from 10am to 5pm to provide tips on Help to Buy and visitors can discover how easy it is to take the first step onto the property ladder with just a 5% deposit.

Anne-Marie O’Doherty, field sales manager for Lovell in the North West, said: “Lenders are reporting first-hand how popular Help to Buy is with buyers. Many are using the scheme as a perfect opportunity to ditch their landlord and buy a home of their own.

“We want to explain exactly how the scheme works and ensure purchasers understand the benefits so many are taking advantage of.

“Our customers could even save money each month by buying rather than renting and, with a range of high specification homes on offer at Church Fields, there is no better time to buy using this initiative, which won’t be around forever.”

The Government-backed Help to Buy scheme has proven to be a vital part of the home buying process for many since its launch in April. Put simply, using Help to Buy, customers will only need a 5% deposit as they will be offered an equity loan for up 20% of the property’s value by the Government.

A collection of three-bedroom properties are available at Church Fields, priced from £131,500, with Help to Buy prices starting from just £105,200.

The development is perfect for commuters, with fantastic transport links and superb local amenities. The area is within easy reach of both the city centre and Liverpool Airport.

Ideal for families, residents at Church Fields have a fantastic choice of local schools, shops and restaurants and are just a short distance away from The New Mersey Shopping Park.
