Showhomes set to unlock further sales

With more than 20 reservations in just four months, new homes in Market Harborough are proving popular amid growing consumer confidence.

Nineteen buyers were so keen to call Rockingham View ‘home’ that they reserved their preferred property off-plan, ie. with nothing but floorplans, drawings and photographs to see.

Two more sales were secured following the recent opening of three showhomes and Redrow is hoping to build on that success further now that homebuyers can see the new homes in all their glory.

“We knew from our database of potential purchasers that the homes at Rockingham View would be popular, but to have secured so many off-plan sales is fantastic. It shows there’s a real demand for quality built homes in the area and also reflects national housing trends with various industry experts pointing to signs of a recovering market,” says Alexis Bissett, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Midlands).

“Approximately 50 potential purchasers viewed the showhomes in the first few days alone. They’ve been very positive about the properties – they love how they look very traditional from the outside but are bright and modern inside.”

Professionally styled and fully furnished, the Cambridge, Stratford and Richmond showhomes are all examples of four-bedroom detached designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection. They give buyers an insight into the different layouts and the quality and finish they can expect from Redrow.

While all of the showhomes at Rockingham View have four bedrooms, there’s plenty of choice in size and layout for customers, with Redrow building everything from two-bedroom bungalows to substantial five-bedroom detached family homes.

They all boast a high specification as standard, including kitchens that are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, plus stylish bathrooms and en-suites and a host of energy efficient features.

Current prices start from £174,950 for a two-bedroom bungalow and from £249,950 for a three-bedroom detached house. And, with equity loans available under Help to Buy, customers could reduce the initial cost of a brand new home by 20% - both reducing the monthly mortgage repayments and meaning they only need a 5% deposit.

Located in Glebe Road, Market Harborough, little more than half a mile from the town’s Sainsbury and Waitrose supermarkets, Rockingham View is well served by primary schools, making it an ideal choice for those with families.

The local train station is also just a short drive from the development, offering 35 trains a day to London every weekday with journey times from 61 minutes

The three new showhomes at Rockingham View are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
