A new housing development in Leicestershire is starting to take shape offering the best of both worlds with great commuter links while only being a stone’s throw away from a beautiful country park.

Housebuilder Charles Church North Midlands has now opened its sales office at the Azalea development, in Rugby Road, Burbage, as the infrastructure around the site begins to come together.

With prices starting from £142,995, Azalea offers two, three and four-bedroom homes which have been created to suit the needs of today’s modern lifestyles.

Sherrie Hankin, head of sales at Charles Church North Midlands, said: “It is a fantastic location for families, walkers, dog owners, birdwatchers and horse riders. It is a beautiful spot full of open spaces and gorgeous views.

“Azalea is really starting to come together and offers something for everyone from the first-time buyer, to people wanting to downsize or a growing family.

“There is a great community spirit in Burbage, which has its own infant, junior and secondary schools, clubs such as beavers and cubs, its own library and there is an annual street carnival and fete.”

Burbage also has excellent commuter links to large parts of Leicestershire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands and is less than a mile away from the M69 and the A5. Rail links are also close by.

Sherrie added: “The icing on the cake for this development, however, is the fact that the village is only a mile away from Burbage Common and Woods. The area actually dates back to the Doomsday Book and is now a popular 200-acre park.

“We can also help you move into your beautiful, new home in time for Christmas. Help to Buy is available at Azalea and is proving incredibly popular with both first-time buyers and existing homeowners as only a five per cent deposit is needed.

“Under the scheme, purchasers will receive a 20 per cent Government equity loan, which means only a 75 per cent mortgage needs to be secured. The scheme helps people who want to buy a new-build home, but would like to make their mortgage payments more affordable making home ownership more achievable.

“Part exchange is also available here and, if you are eligible, we arrange at least two valuations, agree a market price and buy your existing property. We aim to take the stress out of moving as there are no hidden marketing costs and no chains to break.”

The Azalea marketing suite is open on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 5.30pm.
