Affordable homes event to give first time buyers a boost
Would be homeowners in Flintshire can find out how they could leap onto the property ladder at an open day on Sunday, hosted by Redrow Homes and Tai Clwyd.
The special event takes place on Sunday, December 1, from 12pm to 4pm, and will show case the affordable homes on offer at Redrow’s sought after Heathlands venture, off Church Road, Buckley.
A number of one and two-bedroom apartments are being offered in conjunction with Tai Clwyd, who specialise in schemes for buyers who may not otherwise be able to secure their dream home.
Mortgages specialists will be on hand during the open day to offer valuable free advice, alongside representatives from both Tai Clwyd and Redrow.
Elaine Mounsey sales manager at Redrow Homes (NW) said: “Our affordable homes event, which we are hosting jointly with Tai Clwyd, is an opportunity for families and first time buyers to see the stylish range of homes available at Heathlands as well as to find out more about the vital help available to assist them.
“This event is designed to give those who thought they had been priced out of the property market the chance to find out how they can own their own home.
“Heathlands is a very popular venture featuring homes from our award-winning Heritage Collection. The properties combine traditional exteriors, with bright, modern, family-friendly interiors. We have also included carpets and flooring in all apartments to provide an additional valuable boost to buyers.”
To assist buyers, Tai Clwyd is offering a shared equity scheme, giving customers the chance to purchase with just a 5% deposit. Prices start from £97,995 for a one-bedroom Hayeswater apartment.
Heathlands is conveniently situated in Church Road, close to Buckley town centre. The development enjoys a semi-rural location with the picturesque North Wales countryside just minutes away and a nature reserve next door. The cities of Chester and Liverpool are also within easy reach via the nearby A55.
Buckley boasts a pedestrianised town centre, a shopping precinct, ample free car parking, supermarkets and a variety of small shops. There is also a modern health centre and convenient doctors’ surgeries as well as four primary schools and one secondary school.
