With demand for homes increasing, house hunters are choosing to buy new homes using schemes such as part exchange and Express Mover says Bellway.

“With more people in the housing market our buyers feel more secure if they can guarantee a plot so it is not surprising that we have seen an increase in buyers choosing to either part exchange their old home or to take up our Express Mover service where we will take over selling your old home free off charge,” confirmed Bellway’s North East sales director, Rob Armstrong.

In Seaton Delaval, Bellway’s Wheatridge Park development has seen a flood of buyers using these schemes and there are now only four plots remaining.

The three bedroom Sandhurst priced at £169,995 offers nearly 900 sq ft of living space across two floors. The ground floor comprises a Kitchen, living room with French doors leading through to a dining room with a second set of French doors leading to the rear garden.

The first floor comprises a master bedroom with ensuite facilities and two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The three bedroom Faceby is a three storey home providing over 1,000 sq ft of living accommodation, the ground floor comprises an entrance vestibule with staircase leading to first floor, where there is a spacious lounge/diner, separate kitchen and downstairs cloakroom. The first floor comprises a family bathroom and two bedrooms and landing leading to stairs to the second floor which comprises an extremely spacious master bedroom with dressing area and en-suite.

For larger families the four bedroom Stokesley priced at £244,995 is an ideal choice offering over 1,500 sq ft of living space. The ground floor features an extremely spacious kitchen / dining and family area and there is a separate living room and downstairs WC. Stairs to the first floor lead to a family bathroom and three bedrooms with bedroom two having ensuite facilities. The second floor features a large double bedroom with dormer window and ensuite bathroom.

Seaton Delaval has both first and community high schools and offers a range of shops and local tourist attractions including Seaton Delaval Hall and gardens as well as the attractive coastal village of Seaton Sluice nearby.
