Lightline Pilgrimages appointed Official and Preferred Pilgrimage Partner for the Diocese of Jerusalem

The UK’s leading pilgrimage holiday company Lightline Pilgrimages has been appointed as the Official and Preferred Pilgrimage Partner for the Diocese of Jerusalem, having worked for a decade to support the local Christian communities of Palestine and Israel.

The agreement was signed in Jerusalem by Bishop Suheil, the Anglican Bishop and Lightline’s Jerusalem partners Habib Khoury and Raji Khoury at St. George’s Cathedral.

Lightline Pilgrimages groups are accommodated in Christian-owned pilgrim houses and hotels and supported by Christian guides and drivers throughout their stay in the Holy Land.

The next Holy Land departure is on 17 March and the itinerary will include Nazareth – the town in which Jesus grew up – Capernaum, the fishing village which became the centre of His ministry, and many other places associated with the gospels.

In Jerusalem the group will retrace Jesus’ steps from Bethany to Gethsemane with a walk along The Way of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Also included is Bethlehem, the Dead Sea – the lowest point on earth – and Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

The holiday costs from £1795 pp (two sharing) which includes flights, all land transportation, 9-nights’ half-board, all entrance fees and a tour leader.
