Work commences on Lintons Lane

27th March 2014 Print

Work has started on a new housing development in Epsom which will see the construction of 85 new homes.

Surrey-based housebuilder, Persimmon Homes Southern, has commenced the demolition of the former Lintons Centre building on Linton’s Lane and hopes to start the ground work for the new homes later this month.

The development, which will be marketed as Copthorne Place, will combine one and two bedroom apartments with a selection of three and four bedroom houses alongside 20 affordable homes.

Persimmon Homes Southern’s head of sales, Sharon Eldred expects initial interest to be high. She said: “Located within walking distance of Epsom train station, the homes will appeal to a range of buyers at various stages of the property ladder.

“Families will benefit from a range of local schools and commuters will find the location very convenient. Epsom station, with journey times to London Waterloo in as little as 36 minutes is less than a mile or a ten minute walk away and Ewell East and Ewell West stations are just a little over a mile away.

“A range of schemes will be available to help buyers secure their new home such as the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, Home Change and Part Exchange and customers reserving early can secure their preferred plot and personalise their home with fixtures and fittings and options.”
