Morris Homes opens new Hunts Cross development

6th May 2014 Print

Morris Homes is already preparing to welcome residents to its new Elmswood Fold development in Hunts Cross, after the first two properties were snapped up when the site opened at the weekend.

Visitors flocked to find out more about the Boundary Lane site, where there will be 48 properties upon completion. The first phase on sale includes a selection of two, three and four-bedroom family homes, priced from £137,750 and, owing to the significant buyer interest, Morris will be releasing more properties for sale this week.

Elmswood Fold is in a coveted village location, just a short distance from essential local amenities, restaurants and pubs, with easy access to Liverpool and Manchester for commuters.

The launch is part of Morris’ plans to start work on 20 new developments across the country this year, following a surge in sales and positive customer response.

Chris Minshall, regional sales director at Morris, said: “Elmswood Fold offers buyers in Hunts Cross the opportunity to live in a quality new home in a superb village location, with great access to local amenities and thriving city centres, so it is no surprise that we have sold the first two homes so quickly.

“There is a wide range of support available for those wishing to purchase a home at the development, including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which means that only 5% of the value of the home is needed as a deposit to get onto or move up the property ladder in Hunts Cross.

“Demand for the scheme has been high, with one in three of our properties now purchased using Help to Buy, so we would urge interested buyers to visit the sales team to reserve their home now.”

The first selection of properties available at Elmswood Fold are priced starting from £137,750 or £110,200 with Help to Buy.
