Final new homes in Great Wyrley

Limited availability means buyers must hurry if they want to call Oakwood Grange in Great Wyrley ‘home’.

The Redrow development on Walsall Road has been a great success. The majority of homes have been sold and a new community has blossomed at the former factory site.

Now with just a handful of homes available, including the showhome, Redrow is urging buyers to act fast to avoid disappointment.

The good news is that incentives are on offer to help get people moving.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: “The Oxford showhome at Oakwood Grange has played a key role in the success of the development and has been a great inspiration to buyers. As we approach a sell-out we’ve released the showhome for sale, offering one lucky buyer the chance to own a readymade family home that’s been expertly styled by professional interior designers.

“We also have three and four-bedroom homes for sale that are still under construction and so offer buyers the chance to customise them by choosing the finish of things like the kitchen cabinets and the bathroom tiles.”

Prices at Oakwood Grange start from £194,995 for a three-bedroom Letchworth style property, with the four-bedroom Oxford showhome priced from £269,995.

Help to Buy equity loans are available, offering buyers the chance to own a brand new home with a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% share is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years.

Help to Buy can be used by those buying their first home or those moving up the property ladder – provided they’ve sold their existing home first. Redrow can also help with that.

Pauline explained: “Existing homeowners could use our Mastermove service to sell their current property quickly and at full market value. Once they’ve sold subject to contract they may then be able to reserve one of our brand new homes using Help to Buy.”

A third help option from Redrow for a quick and easy move is part exchange, but this can’t be used in conjunction with Help to Buy.

Located within reach of the M6 and M6 toll, plus the A5 and A34, Oakwood Grange makes an excellent base for commuting to Walsall, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

There are schools and shops nearby, while Cannock town centre is handy too. Chasewater Country Park is just a short drive away offering homeowners the chance to explore the great outdoors.
