Aspiring home-owners looking for their ideal starter home in Norfolk need look no further than the two-bedroom ‘Canford’ at Nelsons Quarter, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development on the outskirts of Swaffham.

This stylish terraced house is priced from just £148,995 and has been carefully designed to appeal to individuals or couples hoping to step on to the property ladder.

What’s more, the Help to Buy equity loan scheme is available at Nelsons Quarter, enabling eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price – meaning they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Caroline Carter, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The ‘Canford’ is a gorgeous two-bedroom property which is proving incredibly popular with discerning first-time buyers at Nelsons Quarter.

“However, interest is showing no sign of slowing, so anyone hoping to make the ‘Canford’ their home should get in quick, before someone else beats them to it!”

The ‘Canford’ features a spacious lounge/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a separate kitchen and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, a further double bedroom and a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from two allocated parking spaces.

Alternatively, there’s a choice of three-bedroom designs available at Nelsons Quarter, priced from £179,995, including the ‘Flatford’, which is available to view.

All new homes at Nelsons Quarter are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Help to Buy is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for homebuyers taking advantage of the scheme.

Swaffham is an attractive, family-friendly Norfolk market town which sits at the very northern point of the Brecks, an area of outstanding tranquility and beauty which stretches across Norfolk and Suffolk.

A varied selection of independent retailers line the High Street alongside established chain stores, providing a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience. There is a bustling Saturday market and twice monthly Farmers’ Market while Waitrose and Boots are close by.

There is a good range of schooling within easy reach of home, from playgroups to the well-regarded Hamond’s High School. The nearby Swaffham Community Hospital is complemented by a dentist and a health centre.

Swaffham has convenient access to the A47 providing an easy drive to King’s Lynn while the city of Norwich and its airport are both around 30 miles away.

To find out more about the ‘Canford’ and other homes available at Nelsons Quarter, house-hunters can visit the Sales Information Centre, located off Brandon Road, Swaffham, Norfolk, PE37 7ED, and open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Mondays from 1.30pm to 5pm.
