David Wilson Homes is inviting visitors to afternoon tea this Saturday (5 July) and to learn how its part exchange service could get them moving into a new home within a month.

The housebuilder will be serving tea and cakes at Burton Woods in Spennymoor; Berry Edge, Consett; and Riverside Crescent, Blaydon between 2pm and 4pm.

The company has established a reputation for top-quality homes and thanks to part exchange, buyers with a property to sell could achieve fair market value for their old house.

“Our service is becoming increasingly popular with homeowners who can sidestep the problem of finding a buyer for their existing property,” said Fenton Hewitt, Sales Director at David Wilson North East.

“It makes life much easier for the time-poor househunter. We could buy their home at an independently valued, fair market price and the move could take just one month.

“We are effectively a cash buyer so there is no chain to worry about. There are no estate agent’s fees to pay, no uncertainties over dates or last-minute haggling, and you can stay in your present place until your new home is ready. We take care of everything.”

The housebuilder has a wide selection of homes available with part exchange, including a ‘Litten’ three-bedroom semi-detached house at Berry Edge.

This stylish property, Plot 96, is priced from £141,500 and comes with carpets.

Like all David Wilson designs, it has a free-flowing interior which makes the most of space and natural light.

The open-plan living and dining room opens onto the garden through French windows and the kitchen is fitted with quality units and appliances. Upstairs is the master bedroom, twin bedroom, single bedroom and family bathroom.

Showhomes are open at all three developments – for more information, visit dwh.co.uk.
